A very good episode and a romantic one!

I watched this episode in my early teens for the first time it was aired in France on my TV box and it deeply touched me with a young Julie Mac Coy having a crush for a widowed man boarding on the Pacific princess with his two daughters, 2 adolescents having an argument that Julie will quickly notice and settle. Lovely Julie and this nice widower called Jack will fall in love at first sight actually .Once the widower sees Julie he immediately finds her terrific and she will be delighted and a bit dreaming. The two girls will do everything for them to get closer but there are also two identical twins on the boat for a marriage ,two beautiful blonde ladies who don't lack imagination and a couple of ventriloquists on cruise to entertain the passengers.. I liked this episode a lot and actually it is one of my best episodes,my top 10 list. Each time i watch it i cannot get tired of the actors and the story-line.Jack isn't a playboy but he is very nice despite his low self esteem and he especially is very in love with beautiful Julie Mac coy..will they end together? Will Julie leave the Pacific Princess to get married? I won't tell the end here and if you want to know what will happen you need to watch the beginning of the third season where Julie has her answer..

Twins and Dummies (And Julie Too)

Warning: Spoilers
It's almost '79, and I ain't lying. I spend my Saturday mornings watching The Love Boat. It feels especially pointless when you get an episode with Sid Caesar and Ruth Buzzi as dueling ventrioliquits. I kid. About my life. Not about Ruth and Sid. Their behavior is somehow more unbelievable than Jimmie Walker as a wisecracking ghost. It's weird, man. Ruth Buzzi was in Surf II. I love that movie. We've got identical blonde twins on the ship for a double wedding. They're played by the Doublemint twins. Boy oh boy, they're hubba hubba on the disco dance floor. 'Kissing's all right, as long as you don't do it with just anybody,' Julie says. Tony Roberts plays the man of Julie's dreams. You'll know him from Annie Hall, of course. He's a comforting presence of the 1970s. Julie has to deal with Tony's teenage daughters. 'Hi Mom,' Isaac says to Julie. Is Julie ready to be a mom? Sadly, it doesn't work out this time. Don't worry. He'll show up again. You can leave the other plots in port. This is a classic Julie episode. On Kafka's Love Scale, this get 3 1/2 * out of 4 *.

Weird episode

Warning: Spoilers
Lol but aren't they all. Let's see Julie falls in love with a guy in ONE DAY & I'm not seeing his irresistible charm myself but whatever. Sad how his girls want a mom so bad but that scene in Julie's cabin where she heard voices (of herself contemplating living life as a mom because one day guy) was interesting & kinda cool because I quickly looked around her cabin decor & it brought me back to my childhood, as The Love Boat does in general & of course the only reason I watch this cheese fest. Great 70s guest stars per usual; Tony Roberts, Ruth Buzzy, Sid Caesar & those blonde twins who CANNOT ACT LOL. Their storyline is the best I guessss in this episode so 70s & just fun Love Boat stuff...at least they fell in LOVE before the one week trip hahaha...BUT with the wrong guys!! What do you know? Well they're twins so you know the solution....the vantriloquist storyline with Buzzy & Caesar just creepy & weird! Haha!
