I've enjoyed watching The Love Boat for its lighthearted, feel good stories and to see familiar faces as their guest stars. The storylines in this one were rather entertaining:
Again, it's the Love Boat, but this one got my attention.
- Peter Scolari playing a dare devil who is on the ship to perform a daring stunt (Evil Knieval times?). He meets Courtney Cox, who is nervous to be in relationship with someone who could get hurt every time they go to "work"
- Alan Thicke plays a senator and potential future President of the US. His wife has an issue of sleepwalking- walking around the shop in her towel or nightgown...and kissing Doc.
- Teri Hatcher and the Mermaids have a storyline, where Teri imagines a dance routine on the Lido Deck
- Ace encounters a Russian woman and her father who are the guests on the ship. His photography room gets ransacked, he gets wooed by the beautiful Russian woman but then thinks she and her dad are involved in espionage.
