Peggy goes back to school!
Sylviastel14 June 2009
Peggy flunked one course in high school. If you guessed home economics, you're right. So she goes back to high school and must deal with a typical, traditional teacher with her daughter, Kelly. They have only one assignment. Kelly is assigned to cook jello while Peggy has to cook a rack of lamb. Of course, Al finds the rack of lamb and it's all but gone by morning. Peggy needs this one credit to pass and get her high school diploma. She hopes Mrs. Breyer played memorably by Marge Redmond would understand but she's wrong according to Kelly. Mrs. Breyer has her favorite student, Ruben. When she suggests Kelly be more like Ruben, she replies "well, we both like boys."

Kelly cooks jello.

Another episode of MWC, another great outfit for Kelly. And by great, I mean hot... this one starts off with Ms. Bundy in a black basque, getting ready for her yearbook photo. Peggy starts to reminisce about her own schooldays: she pulls out her old yearbook where she finds an envelope containing her graduation diploma... or so she believes. Opening the envelope, Peggy finds a letter saying that she failed home economics and therefore did not graduate.

When Al and the kids mock her for being dumber than the dog, Peggy joins Kelly's home economics class to finally graduate. In order to pass, she must prepare a dish for grading: a crowned rack of lamb.

Peggy Made a Little Lamb is another great episode with some excellent lines ("What's that on his face?"..."That's a smile." and "We both like boys."), the always amusing fact that Peggy's maiden name was Wanker, and Kelly struggling to make her own dish for home economics: jello. We get a fun montage as mother and daughter work through the night to prepare their final exams, only for Al to wake up early and hungry...

Peggy proves to be quite the merciless mother when she secretly switches dishes with Kelly after Al eats the rack of lamb. Wanker by name, wanker by nature, I guess.
