There's some good limericks from Vivian in regards to Maude and Walter's anniversary. Unfortunately for everyone in the house (and in a 10-mile radius), Walter abuses the gift that Maude has gotten him, an electric organ that makes Florence Foster Jenkins sound like Judy Garland. It takes a near fatal accident to get Walter to stop playing the organ which means that the episode switches gears half way through.
One minute, Walter's playing "Old Black Joe" non-stop (hideously bad), neighbors are complaining, and after the accident, everyone feels bad for being mad at him. You begin to wonder if you've missed something in the episode because it seems like something has been cut out. That makes for an episode that really makes no sense. Phil Leeds, who was just in the variety show as the high school principal, plays the waiter in this episode
