Marilyn was supposed to go down to the bank to make a tax account withdrawal of $680 for Lily, but she falls in and Herman gets the job. He takes grandpa with him, and "goofs it up," as usual. He comes home with over $8,000. The bank teller though he and grandpa were the latest Halloween-masked burglars who had been recently robbing banks, so she just forked over as much cash as she had and Herman was too dumb to know what was going on
Later, Lily gives him the third degree. At night, Herman is dreaming about being rich. He' still excited over seeing that much cash. Finally, he decides to take grandpa and go back and put the money the back, to appease Lily.....at 3 a.m.! They wind up getting locked in the vault.
Up to that point, it was pretty with a few funny lines but the comedy bit about remembering numbers while trying to dial a phone number from inside the vault, was lame and went on too long. However, it picks up again when real burglars enter the back in the middle of the night and discover our two friends inside the vault
"Fingers" and "Scotty" are in for a big surprise when the blow the bank vault door!
The looks on those guys faces alone makes this episode worth watching!
