The episode starts off with Fran making fun of men's hair, everyone from ex fiancee Danny to Maxwell to unseen guest Charlton Heston. Influenced that Danny has a hairy new baby (named Judy!), Fran decides that she wants a baby herself, with or without husband.
Guest "movie star" Donna Dixon (whom I mistook for Lauren Lane in her cape, scarf and sunglasses) suggests a sperm bank which leads to some very funny scenes of Niles violently trying to get the giblets out of a still frozen turkey while Fran and Val discussing the pains of childbirth, and later them emulating Lucy and Ethel while in the sperm bank.
While Donna Dixon's appearance seems unnecessary (her character is ridiculously vain and unlikable), the episode has a ton of very funny scenes. The toddler playing Dixon's baby (whom Fran babysits) is adorable, especially in the spoof of a vintage cleaning product commercial where the baby is chased (then chases) by everyone and has a funny close-up encounter with C.C. it's obvious by his reaction to Fran's singing lullabys to him would require a surrogate lullaby singer, or at least Marni Nixon to dub her voice.
