In 1991, Les Nuls wanted to do SNL on the french television: honestly, the results are mixed: we watched the show except if we were out for a basketball game and what i remember is that all live moments were dull: the weekly news with Penelope and Maurice were never really funny (Grosland picks up the idea with more imagination), Dumb Régis was wheezing, the guest never hilarious, the songs very common... It was also a dark stage and finally only the recorded spoof ads or movies were interesting! At the end, i can't remember one single episode. With their DVD compilation Intégrule, the episode with Zabou is however a good job stoned under Twin Peaks influence: they do the sketch backwards to show it after onward!
