This is All One Big Bloody Joke to You!

So this is the final season. All of the cast members are now involved in the show (at least I can't think of any major additions I might have missed) and so this will have to do for the last 20 episodes or so.

Thankfully this is more than enough. I read a viewers' poll rating the seasons and series 6 was voted as the best. I'd probably agree but this series is likely to give it a run for its money. I know that a lot of people think that this period is the beginning of the end of the show but I don't see it that way.

They had to try something different and this is as good as they could have made it.

Due to the tragic events of 9/11 it's unlikely you'd see this episode aired again on TV, but it's a classic in terms of 'Only Fools and Horses' , starting off the seventh (and what would be final series) of the show.

After the fairly downbeat (but no less entertaining and actually quite important) 'Rodney Come Home' on Christmas Day 1990, this was a much more upbeat affair.

We are still in the realm of 50 min episodes at this point, which is great because it allows John Sullivan to include more moments with the secondary tier of characters, and to have more lovely interactions with them.

It's a classic 'Only Fools' storyline, with some wonderful moments, and in the case of the ongoing Rodney/Cassandra marriage issues plotline, some moments of heart.

Great stuff.
