"An Act of Love" is much like fusing "Petrocelli" with "The Jazz Singer"....as the major theme in this show is grown children rebelling against their traditional and controlling parents. In fact TWO threads like this run through the story---with the alleged murderer as well as the murder victim. I could go on about this, but it's better if you just watch the show.
The best thing about this show for me was the acting of John Marley. He was able to convey so much without talking, as his face just said it all. And then, the speech he makes in the park...well, get your kleenex ready! A great performance....and an enjoyable episode.
