Shortly before his death, Oscar-winner Rod Steiger was a guest on the Turner Classic Movies series hosted by Robert Osbourne. If you're familiar with the show then you'll know that it basically gives legends a chance to discuss their careers and Steiger has a very impressive selection of films that he discusses. This includes ON THE WATERFRONT, WATERLOO, IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT, W.C. FIELDS AND ME, THE CHOSEN and THE PAWNBROKER.
If you're a fan of Steiger then you probably know that he loves to talk so getting him to share stories obviously wasn't a problem here. He tells some great stories about the production of these films and shares countless behind the scenes stories. He talks about his dislike of Elia Kazan due to who he testified against, although Steiger says he didn't know about this until he was already shooting ON THE WATERFRONT. He also shares a nice story about Brando as well as his Oscar win.
Fans of the actor will certainly love hearing these stories.
