Lister wakes up in his bunk on Red Dwarf with a live Rimmer as his roommate.
I enjoyed this one more than most of series 7. It mostly captures the spirit of the first two series, has a good dynamic between characters and it ends with a lot of hope for the quality of the show to improve.
The plot is fairly ridiculous but it works well in the Red Dwarf universe. It's not just a reset to the first episode, it's a creative way of returning to what worked well before whilst keeping some semblance of continuity.
All performances are solid with the odd couple dynamic returned to the Lister/Rimmer relationship and a sensible amount of screen time for Kryten, Cat, Holly and Kochanski.
Rimmer's final line of the episode makes you feel the 'boys from the Dwarf' still have some life in them if they get some decent material.
This is a 6.5/10 for me but I always round upwards.
