Andy Griffith does his best on this ep of "Laugh-In"
tavm7 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Andy Griffith is plugging his new show in which he plays the mayor of a small town. Must have been short-lived since I've never heard of it. Perhaps his best recurring skit on the show is one where he plays a priest listening to various people confessing. The Mod World looks at city living with the cast doing the number as a bunch of country folk! Also appearing is Wilt Chamberlain who endures some jokes about his height and Jack Cassidy who's with a lion that doesn't do anything. Seems he's plugging his special which has something to do with a circus. Best visual is seeing Ruth Buzzi as her streetwalker character literally standing between two "1s" saying "Golly, these are the biggest ones I have ever seen!" Oh, and Teresa Graves is back! This was a pretty amusing if not hilarious "Laugh-In" ep.
