Liza Minnelli is the special guest star of this edition of "Laugh-In" with cut-ins by Jill St. John, Louisa Moritz, Edward G. Robinson, and Ralph Edwards. Also appearing is Jerry Maren who was one of the Munchkins in Liza's mother's movie The Wizard of Oz. He appears in a Dan & Dick segment in which the latter is attempting to sell a cannonball and Jerry has a cannon! Liza does a number with Barbara Sharma about the '30s. And she also appears as a customer trying to send a package with Alan Sues as the guy in charge of doing that with some of those skits ending with Liza declaring her love for Alan Sues! Perhaps her best skit involves her sending darts to Dick Martin's wall he's standing in front of with balloons surrounding him as she tries to kill him while Dan Rowan plays the man she's trying to get away with... This was an okay ep of the show. P.S. One of the dancers in the Cocktail Party sequence was Barbi Benton, a Playboy model who dated the magazine's founder Hugh Hefner.
