A splinter group of the alien race that Steve previously encountered (season 3, episode 17) need supplies of metal and jewels, and send their Bigfoot android to steal them from U. S. government depots. Seeing the results of the unseen android's efforts, the authorities conclude that Steve must be responsible and arrest him. To clear his name, Steve must escape and track down the aliens.
Ted Cassidy, who played Lurch in Addams Family and played an Apache in MacKenna's gold, takes over from Andre the Giant, who had played the hairy bionic terror, in episode 17, and does a good job. He's actually a good beast but he's taken over by aliens led by John Saxon. It's an action-packed episode which ends on a cliffhanger with Steve getting radiated. Part two is a Bionic women episode.
