I normally love watching all the episodes of "Studio One" that I can find. It was an amazing show and often featured some of the best writers, directors and stars you could find...both on TV and in films. However, every so often I see an episode like "The Innocence of Pastor Muller" and realize even a great show sometimes has a disappointing show.
Pastor Muller used to be room with a nasty inventor. And, when I say nasty, I mean that he is rude and ill-tempered. The police have brought Muller in to talk about this old roomie, as the man has just been killed and they wanted to know if Muller can help them with the case. What follows is a confusing and silly show...particularly because so much of it depended on a special camera...but so little was said about it.
Overall, this episode was a surprise...especially because it starred Walter Slezak...a fine Germanic actor who did a fine job given the material he was given.
