A tense situation
bkoganbing16 August 2014
Robert Fuller delivers Jena Engstrom to her uncle Joseph Wiseman. But it's a tense situation in the town of San Saba where they're from. The Indians are uniting Comanches and Kiowas and others because of the raids of scalp hunter Santiago Quesada. Caught in the middle of all this is Perry Lopez the adopted son of army post commander Edward Binns. He does some scouting for the army and some courting of Engstrom.

When he gets killed things threaten to blow up in a general Indian war. Will reason prevail and will the people be able to capture the notorious Quesada.

A lot more violence than usual in a Wagon Train story, still it's a good one.

The Man from The Alamo scenes
suetpea15 November 2018
At the end of this episode, except for the close-ups, was from the movie above starring Glenn Ford. The scene where the wagons are bunched up and they fend off the Texans/Mexicans. The movie came out in 1953, this episode in 1964.
