The great start to series two continues.
Sleepin_Dragon1 March 2023
Tom is suffering from a bout of depression and takes to his bed, Diana is tasked with looking after new resident Daisy Williams, when Diana tries to lay down the law at Bay View, Diana realises she's met her match.

Hopefully the rest of series two continues in this fashion, another super funny episode, with the usual mix of wit, sarcasm and wickedly funny one liners. Daisy made for a wonderfully interesting new character, she really did shake things up.

Is it the first time we get a glimmer of the idea of Tom and Diana becoming a couple, so far they've just been friends and sparring partners.

Some touching moments here, the way Diana tensed to Tom when she thought he was sick, so sweet. The idea of getting older and suffering from loneliness, it isn't overly done, but it is there, it makes you think.

Marion continues to be as bonkers as ever.

8/10.

Diana is more grouchy than usual with poor Tom and the evil Daisy comes to Bayview.
planktonrules3 December 2023
Diana is asked to show a new resident, Daisy, around Bayview. Diana is her typical grouchy self and Daisy takes an immediate dislike of her. Soon you see why...Daisy is a bit of a fascist and loves organizing things. In other words, she loves bossing people around! This is made worse when Diana is uncharacteristically grouchy with Tom. After Tom suggests they move in together, Diana erects a wall between her patio and Tom's...and Tom is pushed into the arms of the evil Daisy. And now, Daisy's one goal is to either break Diana or send her packing...and with Tom neutralized, this looks possible.

This is one of the better episodes and it ends well. But it is odd that Diana is so moralistic in this one, as it really seems at odds with her previous years as a dedicated atheist and curmudgeon.
