It needed more running time.

David Jordan is keen to speak to retired barrister Clifford Barrington, over a paranormal experience he had had some years ago. Clifford had detailed it in a book, but removed the book at his wife's insistence. Clifford and his partner Samantha visit The Barringtons.

Not bad, there are definitely some really nice ideas in this episode, the idea of a horror themed episode, with a bit of mystery floating through it, it's well conceived.

The problem here, the pacing, this one suffers badly by the short running time, at just over twenty five minutes long, the story felt suffocated, the ideas didn't have time to develop, and the ending was just too rushed.

It's a mixed bag, I thought Natasha Richardson was great, there are a few other nice performances, Stock though, bit wooden? Maybe it was just me.

Decent, but could have been good.

5/10.
