Horshack is mad as hell, and he's not gonna take this anymore
kevinolzak23 June 2016
"Sweatwork" is the series takeoff of the recent movie "Network," which won a posthumous Academy Award for actor Peter Finch: "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!" Mr. Woodman asks Washington to start a radio station for Buchanan High, since the Board of Education has allotted a certain amount to educate students in broadcasting. Woodman also confides that the highest ratings earn a special trophy, and he's never won anything in his life. Ratings are nonexistent with Horshack on the 4:00 news: "the bad news is I have no news at all!" Arnold's response to losing his time slot is to rant on the air, creating a sensation that makes ratings soar: "I'm fed up Arnold, and I don't care who knows it!" Barbarino gets a name check on the air, but John Travolta remains absent in this episode.
