Tom and Barbara take a holiday
Scaramouche200421 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Jerry and Margo invite the Goods to dinner, where they notice that Tom and Barbara are very worn down and withdrawn.

Believing it to be through the need of a well earned rest, Jerry suggest they take a holiday. Jerry hold the keys to a friends apartment in London which he lays at the disposal of the Goods. Tom and Barbara refuse to go citing that there is just too much work in their garden to be done, and of course the animals need tending.

Jerry and Margo get round that obstacle by offering to do all of Tom and Barbara's chores for the entire weekend.

So with idiot proof and elaborate instructions on animal keeping etc left for the Leadbetters, Tom and Barbara reluctantly go and not without a due sense of dread and apprehension.

How will the Goods cope with inactivity and their constant worries of what is happening back home, and more to the point how will the middle class gadget-mad Leadbetter's survive a weekend of self sufficiency?
