Mary, whilst walking home from doing some shopping, is set upon and sexually assaulted by a young man. Rab angrily swears to revenge himself on the assailant, however he feels unable to console Mary, leaving her feeling alienated.
Later, that evening, whilst aimlessly wandering the streets, Rab reminisces about the very first time he met Mary back in the '70's in the local casualty department...
A reasonably amusing but uncomfortable episode that probably would not make it past the censors today. There is some fun to be had though with the flashback sequences in which Rab and Mary meet for the first time. Gregor looked hilarious in the hippie gear.
Note that when we first see Rab in hospital, he has an axe protruding from the top of his skull. This gag was used in a 'Naked Video' sketch of 'Rab' back in the 1980's.
