A picture intended chiefly to illustrate the work for young men done by the Y.M.C.A. It has no real plot; but tells a slight, romantic story that is not very convincing, yet pleases. Its characters are such as any young fellow, out of work, would be likely to meet in saloons and cheap eating places, and on the other hand, the people he would come in contact with in a Y.M.C.A. building. A glimpse of a swell poolroom is given. It is, however, a very worthy release; the information it conveys is worth spreading. People will like the picture; it will widely interest. The photography is excellent. - The Moving Picture World, July 6, 1912
