great game

NBA live 06 is a really great and fun game. Ignore all the bad reviews and comments. This game is real fun. The animation is sweet and the game play is so smooth. NBA live 06 is much better than 2K6. NBA live 06 is very easy to play (even when the game is on the hardest difficulty). That's what makes it very neat and awesome. The all-star weekend play is very nice, the dunk contest is great and easy to control. Its not like NBA live 05 when the dunks are plain looking. This game fixed the dunks and they look very good and better before. The dynasty mode is the best. It can go on forever and it takes the game to a new level. You can create a player than use him in dynasty mode and you'll see him get better (stats can increase and player will can new abilities). The commentary is alright but the voices kinda suck. Marv Albert's voice is so annoying and Steve Kerr is kinda wack. Other than that this game is real cool

great visuals can not polish an extremely lackluster game

On an HDtv (pretty much a must-have for the next generation systems)NBA Live looks great on the 360, but everything else is amateur hour. The controls are lacking, the computer AI atrocious, and the game is just not fun at all. Pending a earth shattering event, I foresee the NBA 2K series to always be the dominant basketball franchise (and rightfully so as year after year, it's the better game hands down) and NBA Live to eternally play second-fiddle.

My Grade: D

My 360 Achievement points on this game: 1000/1000 (like all sports games, it's a walk in the park)

My current 360 Gamerscore: 32872 out of a possible 49760
