It is getting better in the "funny" category. I hope this progress continues. It is a very simple story and I don't think there was enough made out of it but I did laugh and did enjoy the humor. I especially liked Eddie's part in it. Both how she portrays him and also what an effect it has on him.
I also think the actors are doing less over acting. I still don't like Laura Winslow, very annoying, but she may become better. I see some potential since it seems she is a nerd.
There is still some cheesiness in it, but this is what one has to expect from a late 80's/early 90's sitcom. As long as they will keep a good balance with humor, I won't mind
