Cissie's trying hopelessly to knit a winter coat, but doomed to fail, it's the eve of Peabody's sale, Dolly and Mildred take pity and agree to take Cissie along. Finchy and Roger head off to queue overnight and mention Miss Milton desperately wants Peabody's star buy, a mink fur coat being sold for only £50, Flora now desperately wants it too. She does her best to discourage Miss Milton, and Cissie accidentally gives her the idea of spending the night in the shop. They find a store room and hide, forgetting the cleaners are about.
A really nice, funny and different episode, department store sales were definitely like this years ago, they were an event. I can believe in the desperation to get hold of a mink fur. A funny episode, with fun performances from the regulars, cleaners, and Peadbody's staff. Finally an episode where Miss Milton has the last laugh 8/10
