Grumpy Gordon at his best

Warning: Spoilers
I recall this episode of Thomas the Tank Engine after a videotape release - not sure the name yet it followed scary Stepney Gets Lost episode.

Gordon is quite a overconfident yet stubborn engine (quite like James and also Henry) quite I like.

I find it odd why Gordon is completely dirty with mud and refuses to have a wash whilst working. Facial expression on James's face after he's been cleaned (sly look) before Gordon made him again.

Totally laugh when Gordon grumbled "Mind my eyes!"

Way he bump the trucks angrily I recall the one episode he sent one flying and smashed to smithereens in George the steamroller episode.

Another Episode with Goofs at Gordon

I just love seeing Thomas tease Gordon. Gordon does look like he has a mud bath. I find Thomas' wit to be very amusing. "I haven't time to dawdle over my appearance like fussy tank engines do". Yeah right Gordon, you're always bragging and gloating that you're the strongest and fastest engine who can pull the express. You're a bigger fusspot than Thomas or anyone else. I'd be singing "Gordon's a mess, Gordon's a mess, he's the largest and muddiest". Gordon should know that cleanliness is essential. When he arrived at the wash down, he blew mud all over James and just for that. He deserved to pull frieght cars as Sir Topham Hatt wanted Henry to pull the passenger train. Gordon is very pompous in this episode. However, he was right to advise James about the Hill being slippery. James tried to climb the hill but he couldn't. Poor James, feeling embarrased about his predicament in front of Gordon. However, Gordon him up the hill and they made a great team. I love how kind Thomas was that 🌃 for requesting Sir Topham Hatt to allow Gordon to pull passenger trains again. Sir Topham Hatt allows it under the condition that cleanliness is essential to all engines. "Dirty or clean, I'm a famous machine" Whatever Big Blue Showoff.
