"Mortuary" feels like the eclectic gathering of characters I'd like to spend a zombie apocalypse with. It has the fun bite of a lighter version of Sam Rami's "Evil Dead" and the television shows "Dead Like Me" and the dreamlike feel of "Pushing Up Daisies". Is this really happening or are we experiencing a stress and alcohol induced dreamscape of our protagonist?
.As I understand it this could be opted as a series and the short film definitely lends itself to this form. While as is it's a fun romp there's still a lot of questions I have and would love to see this troup explore. I'd also love to flesh out the relationships and answer more questions.
