Beautiful 20 minute mind scorch!!

I had the pleasure of feasting my (and a small crowds) eyes on Frederic Polizine's OPO. A first glance of the artwork, one would think it's Gaspar Noe's newest release, but we all know that's titled "Enter The Void". Captured on a DVX100, which looks surprisingly good, this schizophrenic roller coaster ride takes place in a small apartment filled with some not so ordinary people. Our good man, Mick Gondoin, who was the lucky guy to have his face pulverized by Albert Dupontel in Irreversible, set's out on a quest to...well I don't want to give anything away here since it's a short visual experience, but fear not, you will be left wondering what Frederic & Stephanie are up to next.

Wildly dark and visual!

My first statement about this little gem is don't watch it after you have had a few drinks. The camera work is so erratic (in a good way) as the action builds that you may feel the world is spinning (the world IS spinning for the characters). This is a dark, bloody, erotic, drug soaked film that is well worth the effort of finding it! It's smart, fast paced, and overall impressive. The camera work (as I mentioned before) is fitting to the plot, the characters are so gritty that you can also feel yourself in the "club" and the dialog pulls no punches. I love the NIN poster in the apartment too. Very Kubric yet very new too. Good job Fred and Steph!
