Not a bad episode with Thomas in the spotlight once again. This episode is chapter 1 of Thomas running his branchline known as The Ffarquhar Branchline. Thomas is very impatient in this episode but he'll work on that 😉. I know Thomas is striving to be responsible, reliable and really useful by being punctual but he should also be patient. First of all, he shouldn't have rude to Henry by calling him "lazy bones" when he puffed into the station late. Yes, I know Henry was late but it's because he has trouble with building up steam due to the problems with his coal. Thomas should've been compassionate to Henry when he explained his problems but he didn't believe him and snidely said "he's too slow and needs exercise". That's not nice of Thomas to say. Next, he leaves his conducter behind due to his impatience. Thomas realizes his mistake once he stops at a signal. Once Annie and Clarabel tell Thomas they left the conducter behind, the conducter appears. Thomas says he's sorry and luckily the Conductor is not hard on Thomas saying everyone makes mistakes. The episode ends with Thomas puffing to Ffarquhar Station without any further trouble. You know, the final scene in this episode is the same as the last scene of the intro when it ends. Isn't that amazing because I think so.
