Keep Holting on.

Warning: Spoilers
Let's be real. Brooklyn 99 can never not be funny, but I think it's worth noting that the characters have changed a lot this season. Holt is no longer faithful to his morality. Holt spent this whole episode being petty to Captain Kim, trying to sink her. This is the man that refused to give a presentation for his commissionership because the panel was sexist towards Captain Crawford. The man who stepped down from role as president of AAGLYNYCPA because he felt the time was right. Don't get me wrong, petty Holt is incredible. It just doesn't feel like him.

Solid episode

Warning: Spoilers
Despite being painfully predictable that the precinct was gonna love Captain Kim, the episode was still solid, boyles plot was entertaining, and holt and jakes was again pretty predictable but the most frustrating was Terry's it was a decent enough idea but seemed half baked, it did lead to tie in to Jakes plot as the dog attacked him for the food but that's it's only real merit, I guess I'm just sick of the misinterpreting someone's intentions as evil but then the reveal is that they really liked them the whole time, a trope that is used twice in this episode

Let's say it's much better than first episode. In my opinion, this supposed to be season starting episode not that bland one we had.

I enjoyed this episode alot. Boyle and his magic jacket was a great gag. My favorite lines were the vampire one, and, oh, he killed everyone downstairs.

Can finally start the new season after watching the others so many times

Man, I've been waiting for an episode like this for awhile. While season 6 was great, it seemed too political for me for a comedy show. This episode hits back as to why the show is so popular; the comedic relief was consistent throughout the show. Boyle and Holt had me laughing the whole time, and I'm glad the jokes are back!

Where was Rosa?

I missed her athletic, sexy, stunts. I missed her stoic laugh - Ha Ha. I don't miss Gina at all, but without Rosa I probably would not watch this show.

Captain Kim

There were some good moments with Boyle here which is a bit of a rarity these days, but the rest of the episode was kind of a mess.

It's like they went out of their way to write a bad one

Warning: Spoilers
Hold and Jake were completely out of character. Jake usually starts off being a little petty, becomes aware of himself and learns his lesson soon. Here, on the pretext of taking Holt's side he was too harsh on Captain Kim. All the character development they'd done on Jake went down the drain, it was utterly out of character.

I'd have liked to see more of Captain Kim.
