A love triangle story....

Warning: Spoilers
I felt this film was more like a love triangle story. It seemed that Anori and her guy friends were all after her. This was clearly evident when one of them tried to rape her in her apartment. This came after he apologized to her for trying to kiss her. I felt that he was obsessed with her in that she wasn't just a friend to him. Anori was more interested in Inuk than she was in him. She always brought Inuk's name up in front of him to try to get him to back off. He shouldn't have tried to rape Anori at her place like that because that was surely a friendship ender.

Anyway, this was a good film with sufficient drama and many cultural elements that support the film's theme. I really liked the dream sequences between Anori and her guy friends. It seemed like a power struggle between Inuk and his buddy competing as to who would eventually earn the right to be with her.

Greenland's Indigenous are a lot like the Canadian and Alaskan Inuit. But I honestly never knew that Greenland has large cities as it was shown in the film. I guess we always learn something new everyday. This films earns a 7 in my books.
