Fear and Loathing of the Family Cat
JordanThomasHall16 February 2017
John (William Windom) is fearful of his daughter Lydia's (Lisa Gerritsen) cat Dimity Ann. He sets traps to get rid of the feline. With cat in tote, he takes it deep into the hills to set it free. Lydia announces at the dinner table that Dimity Ann is missing. John explains that the cat always had a look of far-away travel in its eye and likely has left to find a new place to live. Lydia blames herself and a guilty John unsuccessfully searches for Dimity Ann. He learns a lesson of tolerance. Like the previous episode, there is a fine moral message, but one that is presented in a rather non-engaging effort.
