Empathetic Episode

Toby is a kind steam tram and even though he's old, he's still a really useful engine. I can tell Henrietta has seen better days as she used to be full of passengers and nine frieght cars would rattle behind her but she's depressed since now only three or four cars are behind her. This is due to the cars, buses and trucks taking up most of Toby's work. The road vehicles often have accidents whereas Toby hasn't had an accident in years. The interesting part is where a lady and a stout gentleman which is Sir Topham Hatt along with their grandchildren come to visit Toby on their holiday. Toby is delighted to meet them but Bridget shouldn't have asked if Toby was an electric tram as it offended him. I know Bridget meant no disrespect to Toby although the tram engine was still fuming. Anyway, the entire family rides in Henrietta and Sir Topham Hatt asks Toby his name which he gives. You'd easily empathize with Toby as he went through a lot in this episode. His railway is on the brink of closing down and he's feeling very sad. On the last day, Toby is given a farewell celebration. Although the passengers are celebrating, Toby and his crew are not and I personally feel as solemn as Toby and his crew does. As it looks like all is lost for Toby, a surprise letter comes from Sir Topham Hatt which might be good news. I think I know what the letter says, don't you?
