A powerful cautionary tale

Warning: Spoilers
I first read Sean Marsee's tragic story in Readers Digest. He was a very popular high school athlete, a typical "all American boy" who developed an addiction to snuff when he was 12 eventually doing a can a day until mouth cancer disfigured and killed him at only 19. He died the most horrific death imaginable because at that time very few realized the dangers of smokeless tobacco even going so far as to compare it to gum chewing. Today watching the ignorance of these kids in the film is infuriating as they are killing themselves and don't even realize it. The end of the film features an interview with a doctor where he mentions the carcinogens in smokeless tobacco are even worse then cigarettes. It is NOT a safe substitute. Sean Marsee's story is a powerful cautionary tale for all young people who are tempted by tobacco smokeless or not.
