series needs more than just a Nip and a Tuck itself

Morose, somber, no fun at all (except for the ghoulish at heart), with a lame SE7EN reference showing just how unoriginal it is. Not to mention an untimely exit for Rose McGowan. There is very little reason to watch this mess, she being one of the few selling points (to me), but they write Rose out? In the first place, with the character of Teddy, this season, it was one gory rush job, too much and, apparently, (well, I wouldn't know) over too soon. Just another junk character, brought in for blood and gore to liven up the regular entrails. And then they dump her. An insult to what Rose could have been here. A waste!

Back: Julia. More than just a little bit wan. I'm sorry, the whole damn regular cast is working on my nerves. They've become the very symbol of crass stupidity. I loathe and despise gormless Matt. I loath and despise amoral queen Kimber. With Dr. Christian Troy not following far behind. I cannot care less about Julia. Sean, well, mild-mannered decent Sean, well, too much is too much, he is just a loser and a bore.

This show is an effrontery. Back in the beginning, well, it was always an in-your-face affront, but at least there were some better moments back then. Now it is just trading in everything abysmal, trading in little but gore, wallowing in it like a pig would in mud, without any likable characters.

And that is the major flaw. No likable characters.

There is no way to salvage this. 14 episodes more to go, with this episode dragging its name through the mud once and for all.

Because, who can possibly, possibly, even just remotely, enjoy watching this? Besides ghouls?
