According to the rankings here on IMDb, this is the highest rated episode of "Blackstar". Of course, most episodes only have about fifteen or so votes apiece, so I can't exactly vouch for their accuracy. If this is indeed the series' best episode, then it might just explain why "Blackstar" never became the kind of pop cultural phenomenon that its cousin "Masters of the Universe" did a few years later.
The story here is standard Filmation cartoon stuff. About three or four voice actors play a dozen or more different stock characters who move about their pastiche fantasy world trying desperately not to get sued for copyright infringement.
Pretty boring stuff, even for an '80s animation kid like me. Easy pass.
