Hadley Robinson, whose career is off to a good start with LITTLE WOMEN and "Fosse/Verdon", spots a non-responsive man while waiting for her train. She hesitates but then calls 911. Juliette Alice Gobin is frantically working her Instagram account and oblivious to others around her.
There's a flashback to earlier in the evening when Connor Vasile is home with his Croatian parents before heading out for a night of hard partying with his friends. Whether it's a buddy who can't take the time to make sure you get home safe, or strangers tied up on social media or a meditation podcast, the message is pretty clear. We have become disconnected from one another to such an extreme that we can no longer tell when a fellow human being is in real trouble.
