I can't believe nobody has mentioned the "Come on Eileen" line that Chuck sneakily threw down. Genius!

Finally...

Warning: Spoilers
Pretty good episode: not so much in the way of action, but plenty of emotions and some pretty moving scenes.
The best part was Dean FINALLY forgiving Cass. Its been driving me mad the last couple of seasons how awkward and unforgiving Dean has been. At least its now said (nice performance from Jensen). Sam also struggles with the knowledge of what will happen if they trap Chuck. We all know he goes with his emotions, but was what he saw even true?

As much as I'm trying to fight it, there are two of us that are starting to lose hope...

The two of us being Sam and me.
After the awesome mid-season finale I was pumped for this episode, but this one was honestly kind of weird. There were a lot of ups and downs. Certain parts were great and certain parts felt like the actors, writers, producers, etc. hadn't quite come back from winter break. I'm really hoping that that's all that's happening and everything will come together a bit more in the remaining episodes. Anyway here's a list of the significant good and bad moments from the episode.
1. The first thing that needs to be mentioned is Cas finally sacking up and putting Dean in his place. Thank you! I have missed this Cas so much! There was a lot of the "I rebelled for this?! So that you could surrender to them?" Cas from Season 5 in that scene. Please call Dean stupid more often when he is being stupid.
2. Things first started to get weird when Dean and Cas had this nonsensical conversation in Purgatory: Cas: Guilt. It was my fault the Leviathan got out. It was my fault we were here the first time. I carry that guilt every day. Dean: I know you're sorry, Cas. About Bel, about Mom. Cas: I was talking about Jack. Ummmm... no you weren't? You were talking about Leviathans.
3. Chuck shows Sam his dystopian future and Sam just believes him? Sam knows Chuck has an agenda. I feel like this could have worked if they'd done a bit more to convince the viewing audience that what Chuck was saying was absolutely true.
4. Sooo Dean finally apologizes to Cas. It's a sweet moment, but the first part (when he's standing) did start out a little rocky. It looked a little bit like Jensen was trying not to laugh. But once he kneeled and spoke directly to Cas I was in. Dean almost said he loved Cas (we all caught that slip) and I'm happy he and Cas aren't fighting anymore. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but the first scene Chuck shows Sam where it's just Sam, Dean, Cas, and Eileen living in the bunker periodically hunting and having movie nights is the ending that I want for them.
5. However, the scene where Dean finds Cas is weird. Why would the Leviathan's just leave Dean behind? He helped send them to Purgatory and they were working for Eve who is mad at Dean, not Cas. And Cas defeated the Leviathans offscreen which kind of sucked. It all seemed a bit too easy. I kept waiting for it to be revealed that the Cas Dean found was a Leviathan in disguise. And to be honest, the whole spell seems too easy. It took Chuck and all four archangels to lock away Amara, but all Dean and Cas needed to lock away Chuck was a flower and spell?
6. I loved Sam and Eileen together in the episode where they first met. They had a natural vibe, but that vibe is just not there right now. That kiss was almost painful to watch. It looked more like Jared wanting to keep his distance to keep from upsetting his wife. Maybe some time apart will do them some good and rekindle their chemistry.
7. Jack is back! Jack is back! Hopefully with a soul this time! I am so sick of soulless Jack. In fact, all soulless characters kind of suck on this show. Can we kill off Donatello too?
P.S. I still find it hilarious that Dean is still not grasping the fact that Eileen is deaf. He's still like "maybe if I scream her name louder into the phone she'll answer me!"

amazing episode

One of my favorites this season, the angst between dean and castiel building up from episode three to this one was so well done. Great development here written by robert and it's really refreshing to see these relationships on the show getting proper screen time and attention, which is something I feel like supernatural lacks a lot of a lot of the time. Jensen ackles did phenomenal in this episode like always and I really just appreciate everything about this episode.
Cas and Dean the definition of love
kaganfatih21 November 2020
Cas saw nothing but love in Dean.
He looked at him. He looked inside. He crossed his anger. Fear. Insecurity. Weaknesses. All the ugly parts. All the violent parts. Directly into Dean's soul.
and he saw ... it was just love.
So he said, "You don't need to say. I heard your prayer."
That was so good

I don't know how and why this show keeps messing up its lore so bad... I Really don't understand. How do they not have some fact checking in place. I understand retconning for the plot to some extent but seriously... Leviathans were created by God, Eve is not their mother, infact Edgar called her a wh*re. And for dear god Dean killed Eve and she doesn't want him? The escapes are so bad, make them reasonable, show us why Dean would not be taken. They could have had Benny save them. The actor even appeared a few episodes ago and that hardly made sense. Dean's prayer... The whole Cas conflict was just forced drama, i don't know why the writers think we enjoy seeing Dean be awful, it's intolerable at times and really "i just get really angry"...ugh.
As for the Sam part, ofcourse he gets tortured again, this show might just have a fetish...anyway the future of him and Dean staying vampires and killing their friends is so not believable but then again i have lost faith in what these men are, they seem to toss people aside and can't fanthom being dead and they know they'll go to purgatory...idek but i will say Dean as a vampire with the fangs was hilariously bad, like i was laughing at the face.
As for trapping Chuck, i honestly don't understand the logic of doing so if that means someone gets the Mark again. How is that better than any future Chuck has planned?
Dean's Prayer sucked me back in

That was the scene that drew me back into the show after almost a decade away. Jensen Ackles is such an underrated actor - the raw emotion on his face had me tearing up just from seeing a gifset on Tumblr. From there, I had to catch up on multiple apocalypses and deaths and resurrections and plots and schemes so that I could come along for the last bit of the show post-Covid.
Decent

The main crew finally come into contact with Chuck, one on one. Tension can be easily felt. It makes sense in this cruel and unfair world God would turn out to be such a self interested and absorbed entity. After all God made man in his own image. This character portrayal is not too bad. Always felt the casting could have been done better but alas that ship has long sailed. Not a bad episode, eventful and emotional at times. 7/10
Boring

Theres too much talking and stalling. So many things we have already seen before. Overlydramatic. Cheesy and lame. Writers are overdoing the fan service and dragging these used up plotlines. This felt more like a terrible fan fiction than a legitimate Supernatural episode. I wish they just put together all the plotlines they wanted to recycle and just jam it altogether in one sucky episode so we dont have to watch so many bad episodes stretched out this season. We are almost in the middle of this LAST season and my faith in this show is hanging for dear life
Awesome

Jensen Ackles gives an incredible performance in this week's episode! My heart broke in a million pieces seeing Dean pray to Castiel in Purgatory. Also, Dean staring down Chuck like that in the casino was so badass.
As for Sammy, he saw visions from Chuck that made him lose all hope, which I think was a bit of a cop out for getting rid of gunshot..
FINALLY it looks like Jack will be returning from The Empty, so hyped to have him back!
This episode was another great one in a very strong final season! So excited but sad to see how SPN finishes out!

After last episodes cliffhanger i was expecting a 10/10 on this, we've waited weeks for it and it's just more Chuck torturing and delayed plans yet again the boys are stuck at square one yet again, i mean i know it's suppose to keep us on our toes but i prefer at this point for a plan to take serious action.
The future vision from Chuck of Sam and Dean being vampires was a little Mickey Mouse for my taste i started to get a vibe of the show Charmed, maybe it's just the way it was filmed.
The things i liked about this episode was Dean's sentimental values on just wanting to win this thing, i feel his exhaustion along with Castiel and the acting was solid. It was nice to see Dean and Cas make up for old problems, i think Cas putting Dean in his place was what helped this episode stay positive.
I'm glad Eileen has left, even if it's for now. I started to warm up to her being part of the team and a love interest for Sam but it's better if the boys go back to being a trio like they have been for the past decade, especially in this time of events.
Overall it was good, but was hoping for more. Not sure what to make of the cliffhanger at the end of this episode with the "It's Time" to Jack from Billie but......we'll just have to see.
It's still a thumbs up for me 👍 (hey that rhymed).

Jensen Ackles! Wow! What a brilliant actor he is.
I am loving and enjoying every single episode of this great season! The first two episode were kind of weak, but it just keeps getting better and better , I am very grateful that they are not ruining this show with a crappy final season.
One of the best episodes of the show

I will update the review if it changes. But before I watch, this whole season is a 6 because the actors can't hide they are jumping ship. Before they do, consider this: The seasons that are good are GOOD and the bad ones are BAD. The difference is mostly in the production and writing. Because when the plot is good, these actors shine. Too bad they feel the need to get away; because this show is really something when the writing is good, and the writing has proven to always come around. Chances are they will be forgotten, but if they give the writers more time to catch up and do a season every other year this show would continue to be something special. Now back to work for me!
Sam...

... a veteran with 15 years of combat exp. but god showed him few visions which he said that were true and Sam become little pvssycat.
Because of such a long relationship with this show i want to see how it ends but with each ep of s.15 it becomes increasingly harder and harder. And there is still 11 eps to go.
Chuck give me the strenght to finish it.
Disappointing

I am a long time fan of the show, I always give good rating for the episodes, overall I gave 10/10 for more than 70 supernatural episodes. But seriously this is bad, very very very bad. the story doesn't make sens anymore. I like very much the idea that god is finally the monster at the end of the book, I was waiting for a very good season. but I am disappointed. Dabb is destroying this show!
Nope.
