Well Written, Well Acted, No Closure
timothygartin26 March 2020
This story would only work as a short film. It is well written and acted. The two female leads are very good and have a good chemistry. While a few story elements have been featured in other movies, this story puts a new spin on the Strangers on a Train idea.

All that said, the director elects to leave the movie unresolved. I think that has some good and bad to it. On the good side, it leaves the audience to reflect on what the characters will do. On the bad, I would rather have had some closure to the story. We are left hanging, and ultimately unsatisfied.

I Cringed!

This concept and script seems like it was thought up by a brooding teenager who is trying to be oh so dark and edgy. I really hated it. It's laugh out loud bad in parts (the jazz sequence for example) and has a really obvious and stupid "twist" ending. The lead character is impossible to empathise with and comes across as a psychotic and disturbed villain.

It's a Pathetic and poorly acted self parody. The worst short film I've seen in quite awhile. It does absolutely nothing interesting with the themes it attempts to explore.

Not original, but well crafted. More correct than good thriller/horror , it preserves few traits of Hitcicok, using them in fine manner. So, correct use of a classic recipe, mixing pieces of horror and thriller with some horror.
