Highly recommended Documentary

I recommend anyone who is interested in American politics see this film. There are countless interviews. The list includes Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT), Ned Lamont, John Kerry (D-MA), Ralph Nader, current presidential candidate Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) and former NYC Mayor Ed Koch. It's a terrific look at the events leading up to and including the election of 2004.

Especially as the 2008 campaigns are heating up and Democratic Senator Barack Obama is taking on establishment Sen. Hillary Clinton. Once again the Iraq War is a top issue in the fight for the nomination. This 90-minute film flies by, leaving you wanting more. Get a hold of this movie and watch it once or twice. It's important.

Pass The Dogfood, Please!

If you consider yourself a true American (and not what the conservative far right call an alleged 'American patriot'), then you owe it to yourself to treat yourself to a screening of this taut documentary. It starts with footage of the 2003 protests in New York City over the Fourth Reich...um, I mean the Bush administration's (wait...that's the exact same thing) badly botched handling of Fuhrer George II's invasion of Iraq. What follows is footage leading up to the 2006 general elections for U.S. Senators. There is a busload of footage of our old pal, Fuhrer George's faithful little lapdog, G.O.P. Joe Lieberman being at his usual best (floundering & foaming at the mouth over his various victories). The documentary also gives way to Ned Lamont,in his campaign for Senator of Connecticut (for those of you who have been living in a vacuum for the last two years,he lost to G.O.P. Joe). There is loads of interview footage with others, too many to mention here, and also gets some screen time at the various campaign stops. This is a short (about 75 minutes),but sweet documentary about a most dirty subject in cinema...politics.
