This episode takes place in San Francisco in 1859 and tells the story of a man whom other folks laugh at because he is simply different from the other people and some kind of eccentric. He claims to be emperor of the United States. His only faithful friend is a dog. In some scenes, I wondered if I had to laugh or being angry, because those sequences showed only the human naughtiness. This poor man who truly believed he was an emperor and who pushed into this cruel masquerade. I guess it was inspired from actual events, a man who really existed. Anyway, it is surprising and not foreseeable at all, not usual. I also think this story has been made for the big screen.
