Heike Hennig studied at the Moving On Center-School for Participatory Arts and Research, Oakland, USA. Her pieces have been shown across Germany at numerous festivals, as well as at Athens, Rome, Nanjing. She has held teaching positions at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, Palucca Schule Dresden and the University Leipzig.
