My partner and I have been enjoying this show so far, although it sometimes feels it isn't really going anywhere. Still, it's refreshing to see female characters in their 40s being focused on, and still represented as complex and interesting characters. However, this episode left a really bad taste in our mouths. It totally objectifies a young 20-something character named Caroline, who is seemingly brought in and focused on for mo other reason than to expose her breasts and rub food all over them before shaking them around in front of a security guard and then running back and forth across the screen topless. What the hell? Totally not in keeping with the rest of the show. I can see this type of tasteless objectification anywhere. I thought this show was better than to stoop. The other characters in their episode also act totally out of character, and there seems to be no point whatsoever in the entire party scene, which takes up most of the episode. I don't know that we're even going to keep watching after this. It was really gross and offensive. I'm no prude, I love sexy content, but this wasn't sexy, it was just uncomfortable, gross, and out of context. They're going to alienate their audience.
