Jodie continues to search for the truth, and even challenges some factual evidence that's put in front of her.
First of all, I have to say, it's been pretty good all the way through, the third episode was really very good, this final episode needed to be excellent.....
Sadly, it wasn't excellent, it was a bit silly. The writing is such that big chunks of it are just so hard to believe, it's as if the writer made events fit the story, whether they were believable or not.
There's a scene in The Scream spoof, Scary Movie, where the victim is being chased by the killer, she can run to safety or danger, both are signposted, that scene came to my mind when Jodie ran to the boat.
It got a little bit tangled up in its own web, it tried to have too many twists and turns.
Take it for what it is, and it's enjoyable enough, treat it like a fantasy thriller.
Channel five, you are really improving on the home grown drama front, please continue.
Absorbing enough. 6/10.
