. . . never had to suffer through a viewing of FOUR METHODS OF FLUSH RIVETING. This dry, overly complicated presentation--running about ten minutes, but seeming like two hours--may be lapped up by some O. C. D. Male types, but it totally lacks a memorable framework for information chunking and the type of comic relief that might have been provided by an animated on-screen character--say, Goofy--allowing it to soak in better with the Female Mind. Surely "training films" such as this delayed the Allies' triumph in World War Two, prompting HST to resort to A-Bombs.
