The Thomas version of Indiana Jones
LigerTamer10029 April 2020
Season five without a doubt, was the most craziest season of the whole show. And this episode was one of the best episodes from that season.

This episode had some creepiness and some questions that people still have to this day. Like why is the boulder even alive? What was Sir Topham Hatt thinking about when he was looking at the boulder? And why was there even dynamite in the sheds?

In my opinion, Alec Baldwin did fantastic with the narration, at least with season five. And this is one of the episodes where I think he nailed when he was saying his narration, especially the final line, there was just something dark about it.

I remember that whenever I watched it as a kid, I would get to the edge of the couch and get excited to watch it or any other scary episodes of the season. I think I loved how the season was and that was years before I even got into horror movies.

So if you're interested in finding a creepy episode that was even made for kids, this will be the episode for your type.

The episode about a Giant Boulder
DevoidBear24 September 2021
This episode isn't just about a Boulder chasing all the engines like Indiana Jones, it's about the mystery of this Boulder and the characterisation that he is given despite the fact that he is just a large rock

In just the first sentence of the episode we found out that Boulder likes his privacy and is frustrated by the workmen disturbing it. There are also scenes were rocks can be falling right by Boulder or where a rock lands right by Rusty which implies that he is losing his temper. And then when Boulder comes crashing down and starts chasing the engines it implies that Boulder has finally snapped and is in a fit or anger.

This episode can also be viewed as an episode about consequences, the workmen work in an area which is clearing not safe given that there is a giant Boulder which looks as if it was about to fall down at any moment and end up causing the shed to explode in a ball of flames; even the fat controller realises his mistake.

Overall this episode really is amazing and is a prime example of why Thomas & Friends will always be my favourite TV Series ever.
