I love this episode. When I first saw it, I misunderstood what Thomas meant by jokingly saying "what already? You're not that old" when Edward tells Thomas that he's going to the scrapyard. But now I think he jokingly meant that Edward shouldn't be scrapped as he's "not that old" while knowing that Edward is not gonna be scrapped. When Edward first meets the Trevor who is the Traction Engine in the yards, he is surprised to see him there considering he's in good shape. I was also surprised to see Trevor in the scrapyard. When Trevor reveals that he's gonna be broken up soon, Edward feels sorry for him and has an idea to rescue him. Edward vents to the Vicar who promises to do what he can. Jem Cole arrives and restores Trevor. The Vicar then buys him. Thanks to Edward, Trevor now has a new purpose in life. Well done Edward and continue being the kind hearted blue engine we know you to be. You're a very useful and heroic engine.
