Beautiful documentary. I am pleasantly surprised by Brigitte. I knew she was interested in animals, but I had no idea she was such a public activist with a reach far beyond the borders of France since 1962. She finally gave up a successful film career entirely for the sake of animals in 1973 (I love her leftist-rebel films Viva Maria and Les Pétroleuses). She set up her own animal shelter and personally lobbied politicians, visiting ministers. And all the campaigns she actively participated in or organized... In order to raise 3 million francs for the foundation of her organization, The Brigitte Bardot Foundation, she sold all her valuables and her house in 1987 (I'm mentioning this because some may still think that non-profits are funded by Soros and the illuminati)... It's unbelievable that even today, after 60 years of activism, she still leads and continues to work for animals. Truly inspiring.
