This episode is deeply the worst episode in seasons 8-11 of Thomas and Friends. I don't know what made it so bad, but for all I know, it's just so mean. Billy for what I can say is not a likable character, he is a complete and an utter jerk without any redeeming qualities of any kind or whatsoever. Say all you want about the Logging Locos (Bash, Dash and Ferdinand), Charlie, or some other character that doesn't deserve the attention to children or traffic of some sorts, but Billy just got out sucked! I have no wonder why Sharon Miller had to introduce a character who is the Jeffy of Thomas and Friends, but this is one of the worst decisions from her. No not that I hate Miller, no I wouldn't be that negative to her, even though she did write some terrible episodes in the past before Brenner took over.

What I am saying here is that I have no respect for an engine who never listens, who constantly screws up everything, who never cares about what another engine (or what Thomas) even says to him nor would he listen to advice, he would just go off to something different and piss off everyone. If I had an engine on my railway like that, I would have it sent packing. I know Billy got what he was deserving for running out of coal and water, he would have been better off sent away by the Fat Controller for how much of a sadist he is. I'm pretty sure someone out there hated this episode and Billy as a kid watching Thomas the Tank Engine back then.

I doubt this episode is canon to Thomas because it's non-canon for a reason: Billy was a one-off merchandise character who appeared once and was never seen again, in fact, I'm glad HiT never brought back Billy after season 11 because he shouldn't really exist, and neither should this episode either.

Worst episode of the new model era (along with "Edward Strikes Out"), and the absolute worst episode of season 11. I will give this episode this, at least events from this atrocity were later ignored in future episodes.

Warning: Spoilers
The most I can give this episode is a 5 out of 10. First of all, this seems like an unfinished episode. It seems very short (However in length it is 10 minutes.) and something seems missing in this episode. Billy is obviously the elephant in the room here. As he constantly ignores Thomas and goes on his own, Salty's no help either. In the end, Billy (kind of?) learns his lesson at the end. However Sir Topham Hatt never appears at the end to scold Billy. The UK narration of this episode is alright, however the US narration is horrible. Billy's US voice being the main spotlight as it's very annoying. Overall, I'll give this a 5/10.
