Fire Chief Binghamton
kfo949422 November 2014
In this episode, the crew of the 73 find an old fire-engine and think of a way where they can but a liquor-still inside the old water tanks and then they can drive around delivering their hooch to customers. Everything is going great until Binghamton makes an appearance.

It seems that Binghamton is in trouble with the brass for not organizing some sort of public adventure for the town. The General told him that if he is not more 'civil minded' that he would be replaced. So now Binghamton is looking for something that will impress the General and keep him in charge.

When he see the fire-truck, he confiscates it to form a volunteer department. He will be the chief of the fire crew and place townsfolk as members. This will surely make points with the General. That is till he has to put out a fire with moonshine.

There is nothing wrong with the plot but it felt already done, with some exceptions, when the crew was on the island of Taratupa back in the Pacific. On the island the Admiral was on Binghamton about not helping the natives and turns into more trouble when he tries to help. The same plot but different location. But overall, the story was interesting enough to make for an enjoyable watch. And with the nice acting it was above par for the show.
